The Barn House Concerts were founded in 1998 by a group of people who wanted to showcase the best in local area talent, and, when possible, to attract nationally recognized acts of extremely high caliber, and to provide a place for these artists to play in an environment that is intimate and friendly. We realized that such a big part of being an independent musician invloves playing in less-than-desirable conditions where one is often not fairly treated and may be forgotten tomorrow.
The Barn is a non-smoking, non-alcoholic venue and 100% of your donation goes directly in the artists' pockets. We don't make a dime; this is all done out of love for both audience and artist.
The price of your ticket includes coffee, tea and soda as well as home-baked goods. We hope you will come back to enjoy the wonderful artists we've been privileged to get to know.
